Chris Ortiz is the Vice President and Senior Registered Principal at National Asset Management. As financial advisor, he has spent over twenty years helping clients become more financially independent.
After graduating from St. Francis College and playing professional basketball, Chris made a career change and began working in the financial industry. Through his experiences in finance, Chris has fine-tuned the process of helping clients reach their goals, specializing in setting up diversified asset allocation models. He founded Fidelity Analytics LLC, which provides consulting services for securities attorneys. He holds series 7, 63, 24, 4 and 65 licenses. He is also registered with the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) financial advisor program.
As a former college and professional athlete, Chris saw many professional athletes suffer financial ruin because of bad financial decisions. He decided to devote his career to protecting hard-working individuals, including athletes, from losing what they had worked so hard to achieve. In his work as an athlete, Chris developed essential communication skills—and an outstanding work ethic— that help him stand out as an advisor. He has the unique ability to translate complex investment advice into language that anyone can understand, and he is committed to helping clients truly understand his recommendations so that they make smart money decisions.
Chris enjoys spending time with his wife Josette, their family and his dogs Oreo and Enzo. Chris and Josette serve at Second Chance Animal Rescue, an organization devoted to providing homes for abandoned pets.
